- Why do you need donations for an email-based service?
  We do more than send email. The most important aspect of this apostolate is prayer, and the greatest form of prayer is the mass. Currently we have five masses offered every week for the prodigals in this apostolate. Donations are used to offer stipends for these masses.
  While sending a single email is free, sending thousands of emails requires specialized software. This software ensures compliance with laws and can handle high volumes.
  In addition, we have other costs, such as:
  Website hosting and domain fees
  Software and system maintenance
  Other operational expenses that grow as our subscriber base increases
  Your donations help cover these expenses and keep this apostolate running.
- Why not make it a paid service?
  We want everyone to benefit from this apostolate, regardless of their financial situation. We’ll never charge for participation. Donations from generous supporters make it possible to keep PrayingForOurProdigals free for everyone.
- Who should refrain from donating?
  If you’re struggling financially, in debt, or unemployed, we ask that you not donate. This apostolate is here to uplift you, not add to your burdens.
- Will donating mean I get bombarded with more requests?
  No. We don’t share or sell donor information, so your gift won’t lead to solicitations from other organizations.
  We don’t have your physical address, so you won’t be overwhelmed with requests through the mail either.
- Are my donations tax-deductible?
  At this time, PrayingForOurProdigals is not a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so donations to us are not tax-deductible. It’s expensive to create a nonprofit. We feel the money is better spent on directly supporting the apostolate.
- How do my donations make an impact beyond covering expenses?
  Your generosity not only helps us cover operational costs but also allows us to grow this ministry and reach more people. For example:
  Expanding Outreach: We can reach more people through social media, ads, and collaborations.
  Improving Content: Donations enable us to create new resources, like prayer guides or reflections, to deepen participants' spiritual lives.
  Developing Language Options: Your support allows us to work toward translating our materials into other languages, making prayer resources accessible to non-English-speaking participants.
  Every donation, no matter the size, helps extend the mission of praying for the reversion of wayward Catholics.
- Can I support the ministry in other ways besides donating?
  Absolutely! If you’re unable to give financially, there are still many ways you can help:
